UX/UI Lead, UX Gamification Researcher, Branding Direction
As the lead UX/UI designer and prompt engineer, I developed key gamification features for WeStretch, including a dynamic coin reward system and Streak Savers. By integrating motion design, haptic feedback, and personalized incentives, I created an engaging, immersive experience that motivates users to stay consistent with their stretching goals while deepening their connection to the product.
Overview
This ongoing project is driven by whimsy gamification that drives users to experience a virtual stretching program from the touch of their phone. Guided by your gym friends, Ada and Bruce, users are tested to compete in leagues, keep up streaks, challenge friends, and buy items to engage in the 3d world of WeStretch.

Daily Log In Rewards
To reinforce progress and keep users engaged, I designed a dynamic coin reward animation as part of the end-of-routine flow. Each coin, branded with the WeStretch logo, spins before flying up the screen to land in a 3D vault. Timed motion design, paired with haptic feedback, creates a sense of physicality and momentum that bridges the digital experience with real-world sensation.

Streak Savers and Coin Integration
Streak Savers play a key role in deepening user engagement with the WeStretch world. To foster a stronger connection with the product, users are given the option to invest in their progress when life gets in the way. By purchasing streak savers or coin bundles, users can restore their lost streaks, ensuring they stay motivated even during interruptions.

Design Decisions
To seamlessly blend a 2D interface with a playful 3D world, I incorporated motion, haptic feedback, and spatial depth into the design of features like the coin vault and streak savers. These elements were used to maintain a sense of whimsy while reinforcing user actions and creating a more immersive reward experience.
✔️ Your Items at a Glance
-
To reduce decision fatigue and minimize hesitation, essential items and their required amounts are visually highlighted with subtle pulsing animations. This draws the user's attention to what’s needed, streamlining the decision-making process and encouraging quicker action.
✔️ Micro Interactions Designed to Push Sales
-
When the next step is visually clear, users make decisions faster. Pulsing cards and call-to-action buttons guide attention and encourage users to take immediate action, making it feel intuitive to “push the button.”
✔️ You're Playing in a 3D World!
-
CTAs were intentionally designed to feel three-dimensional, embedded within the WeStretch universe rather than sitting on top of it. Interactive elements like 3D coins and streak savers animate across the screen with haptic feedback, giving users a sense that rewards are happening in real life. To extend this playful immersion, I also introduced a virtual shop, transforming routine progress into a fun, game-like experience.

Badges and Streaks!
Because users often struggle to stay consistent with stretching routines, I designed an end-of-routine flow that integrates gamification mechanics, such as progress feedback, collectible badges, and a coin economy, to boost motivation and drive retention. These elements make the experience feel more rewarding and help users build a sustained sense of accomplishment over time.

Prompt Engineering AI for Badges
As the prompt engineer and brand lead for the badge system, I developed a tailored AI prompt that generated hundreds of on-brand badge designs, ensuring visual consistency and scalability across the experience.
